He instead wants to have a loving and paternal relationship with us that allows us to flourish and be free of our burdens. He teaches us that our ‘job’ is to know God, and how much He wants to know about us. Then our eyes are opened, and we can see where God is working and we go and join Him in HIS work….NOT the other way around.
